Allying a traditional engineering background with in-house material production, Devol has developed an unique range of materials which are tailored to suit different applications and operating environments.
With a material production facility and fully equipped machine shop in Greenock and a separate injection moulding facility in Edinburgh, Devol is fully equipped to cater for a broad range of production requirements.
Devol has the capacity to extrude, mould, cast and machine components from 10mm diameter to in excess of 2,500mm - individual components may weigh up to 1,000kg.
Using the latest CAD 3D modelling techniques, we have the ability to visualise, manipulate and modify prototype designs and once the design is optimised, the relevant manufacturing data is output to the machine shop. Devol uses the most modern CNC lathes and milling machines to provide expedient and cost effective component production.
